CORDURA® Nylon fabrics are very durable and you can wash and dry them at home. Never use Bleach.

Soaking in cold water with a mild detergent and gently rubbing the fabric against itself is the safest way to clean your Final Rise product. After a quick scrub, we suggest rinsing and letting it hang dry in a well ventilated and shaded area. Over washing may cause fabric color to fade, especially the Blaze colored fabrics.

  • Fabric softener is not recommended as it affects the function of the water repellent.
  • Soil may be removed with spray cleaner or light detergent and water.
  • Oil or grease should first be treated with a dry cleaning solvent followed by a spray cleaner or detergent and water.

Some CORDURA Nylon fabrics have a durable water repellent (DWR) finish on the front face of the fabric. The DWR helps the fabric shed water and stains. Over a period of time this DWR finish will wear off and needs to be replenished. If your fabric stops beading water on the front face you can replenish this finish with a protectant called ReviveX® Water Repellent for Outerwear.

For tag ends of thread, webbing, etc. use a lighter to reseal any fraying that may occur during normal use. Because the threads, fabrics, webbings, etc. are nylon based, they will clean up very easily. Do not hold the lighter directly to the fabric. Ignite the flame and carefully progress the flame to the desired object. Slow and easy is the best approach to ensure you do not melt or burn other parts of your vest.
